My father handed me a camera when I was 7 years old and told me to shoot, everything, everywhere. I have had a camera in my hands ever since. I studied photography in college and then went to LA to be a filmmaker. After graduating from the LA Film School as a director and producer I had a stint as a stuntwoman, worked on many films and music videos, and styled a Victoria Secrets commercial directed Michael Bay. After 8 years living in Los Angeles, I discovered I was pregnant and decided to choose family over Hollywood. I wanted my children to have the same childhood experience as I had, with trees, dirt and animals. So we moved north to Sonoma County.

I was able to work with an award-winning wedding photographer once again in Sonoma County. After many years of hard work, I was hooked! It’s an honor being with people on one of the most important days of their lives. To tell the story. To capture the beauty, the excitement, the drama of it all.

Weddings are a unique and expressive avenue in photography, and requires a few additional skills. You have to be quick to adjust, be good under stress and be able to work with all kinds of people and personalities in any situation or circumstance handed to you. I bring a no stress, creative spirit to any job I do. I was prepared for this job by my experience in film and travels.
